A delegation from the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) and the British Aerospace company BAE Systems visited the Atheeb Group headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

The purpose of the visit was to identify prospective development opportunities and showcase Atheeb Group’s services and demonstrate its capabilities as a potential Saudi supplier for the Future Combat Air Systems program (FCAS).

FCAS is an endeavor to deliver an ambitious military program that will pioneer new technology, with an innovative and advanced combat air system of sixth generation fighters capable of fighting in the most hostile of environments (Tempest). The program aims to deliver the first planes by 2035.

This visit was in accordance with the ongoing Atheeb Group-GAMI-BAE engagement following the Saudi Arabia and British defense ministers’ declaration of Saudi Arabia’s intent to participate in the FCAS program, which will contribute to strengthening the Kingdom’s defense and industrial capabilities.
